The Business

Our client is one of the UK’s fastest-growing functional food brands, on a mission to make gut health deliciously easy. Backed by loyal customers and major stockists, we’re scaling rapidly and investing in our team to support this exciting growth phase.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to join our London-based team and take ownership of day-to-day finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (or up to 5 years PQE) with a background in industry and a passion for fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

You'll be pivotal in supporting the financial health of the business through accurate reporting, cash management, and insightful analysis. You’ll also play a key role in optimising finance processes and supporting strategic decisions as we scale across retail and D2C channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the finance function, managing AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end processes using Xero
  • Produce monthly management accounts and provide commentary for leadership
  • Deliver commercial analysis and insights to support decision-making (e.g. margin, pricing, performance by channel)
  • Work closely with operations and supply chain to understand cost drivers and stock movements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow modelling
  • Assist in year-end audit preparation and liaise with external accountants
  • Drive process improvements and automation as the business grows

About You

  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or up to 5 years post-qualified experience
  • Likely trained in industry rather than practice
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero
  • Confident managing AP, AR, and management reporting independently
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a small but fast-paced team
  • Prior experience in SMEs, manufacturing or consumer goods is a bonus – but not essential

Why Join Us?

  • Play a key role in a high-growth FMCG brand with genuine momentum
  • Exposure to commercial and strategic finance at a senior level
  • Collaborative, mission-driven culture based in central London
  • Real ownership and the chance to grow with the business
