A leading international organisation is seeking a Customs Excise Tax Specialist to join its growing finance and tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customs and excise professional looking to take ownership of compliance, advisory and process improvement activities within a complex, fast-paced environment.
The role is primarily based in Hounslow, although a remote-first arrangement can be considered for the right candidate, with existing team members located across the UK.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all customs and excise regulations, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and providing expert guidance on customs duty and excise-related matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing customs and excise compliance activities across the business.
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting customs and excise returns accurately and on time.
- Advising internal stakeholders on customs duty, excise duty, import/export regulations and indirect tax matters.
- Supporting the preparation and review of corporation tax computations.
