CONTRACTS AND COMMERICAL MANAGER (PRIMARY CARE) REPORTING TO: Senior Contracts and Commercial Manager, Primary Care HOURS: Part Time (Two Days Per Week) FORMAT: Remote (with very occasional site and office visits) JOB SUMMARY: Our client is a £400m PE backed business operating in the health sector. The role is to provide commercial advice and decision-making support to the Primary Care Divisions in relation to new business opportunities and existing operational projects, in order to secure and maintain profitable growth through the application of robust commercial disciplines. This position will be home based. However, the jobholder may be required to undertake occasional UK travel. This should usually be completed within the day, although may occasionally require overnight stays. Our main office is in Berkshire, with other offices and operational sites located around England. Key Responsibilities Commercial Contracts: Provide commercial input to new business projects and related contract negotiations; Advise on drafting and negotiate the terms and conditions of contracts from tendering through to contract signing; Provide commercial interpretation, advice, and support to operational services in relation to their existing contracts. Property : Provide commercial input to acquisition of new properties, lease renewals, lease exits and assist in negotiating terms and conditions, liaising with Group Legal and external solicitors to agree property transactions. Business Development: Review and advise the Business Development Team on the commercial aspects of development opportunities during the bid evaluation and preparation, tender submission and clarification stages of new projects and schemes; To liaise and negotiate with service commissioners to ensure that all new services have signed contracts in place ready fir go-live; Advise internal colleagues such as the Senior Contracts and Commercial Manager, Finance Director, Commercial Director and Group General Counsel of any contractual risks prior to contract signature.
