Role Overview
You will work closely with the director to help implement our SEO audits and performance roadmap across multiple WordPress and Shopify-based ecommerce brands. You will follow the strategy we co-develop and own the execution across tech SEO, structured data, site speed, and CRO fixes. This is not a content writing or basic blog SEO job. You will be leading technical SEO delivery β fixing indexation issues, optimising crawl paths, running A/B tests, and improving real site performance.
Responsibilities
- Technical Audits β Crawl execution, issue prioritisation, client-ready timeline documentation
- Structured Data β Implement and maintain schema across products, collections, articles
- Site Speed β Core Web Vitals, theme optimisations, render-blocking assets
- Sitemaps β Fix 4xx/3xx URLs in XML, manage crawl coverage
- Robots.txt β Syntax and logic fixes, clean up disallowed assets
- International SEO β Hreflang, X-default, language redirects, canonical issues
- Indexation & Crawl Cleanups β Internal 404s, redirect chains, duplicate content
- A/B Testing Prep β Assist with test setup + CRO-focused implementation
- HTML/CSS/Theme-Liquid β Light theme edits (Shopify), debugging layout/UX issues
- Documentation β Keeping audit deliverables clean, clear, and client-ready
Must-Have Experience
- 3+ years in technical SEO for ecommerce or agency-side
- Experience working on enterprise level international stores
- Ability to manage end-to-end ecommerce SEO strategy
- Advanced understanding of WordPress, Shopify, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and GA4
- Can implement structured data directly
- Experience with hreflang and international SEO
- Able to debug issues across JS, Liquid, or HTML
- Understands Core Web Vitals and page performance basics
- Comfortable doing client-quality work without being micromanaged
