Our mission is to make conveyancing the easy part of buying and selling property and this drives everything we do.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The aim of Searches UK marketing is to keep Searches UK at the forefront of solicitors minds when thinking of a conveyancing search provider. It's about ensuring the continuous supply of decision-making leads to our Business Development Manager and providing support with marketing materials and events to aid with conversion.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS MARKETING ASSISTANT

  • Sourcing engaging hosts for webinars who attract unique leads
  • Managing the webinar calendar
  • Arranging test webinars to ensure technology is working for hosts
  • Advertising webinars across multiple channels
  • Occasionally hosting webinars in the absence of the Business Development Manager
  • Passing on all leads generated from webinars to the Business Development Manager
  • Supporting the Business Development Team to create brochures, eShots and keeping the website up to date with new products
  • Growing and maintaining Searches UK’s LinkedIn presence, creating and growing engagement for Searches UK posts, generating webinar signups
  • Ensuring that the website remains optimised for the best possible organic search visibility and user engagement
  • Providing a monthly marketing update to the team, to inform about progress and current projects
  • Organising and attending events to represent Searches UK such as conferences, seminars etc. (This may involve occasional travel and overnight stays)
  • Managing relationships with advertisers, sourcing new advertisers to continue to grow the platform, PR sourcing and posting articles, organising the eShot calendar and sending as directed by the advertisers
  • Regularly adding to databases to ensure the maximum reach for campaigns
  • Assisting with the organisation of client gifting including sourcing gifts, collating client details, arranging the sending of gifts and follow up of these

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Although marketing experience is not essential, a keen interest in marketing and business development is highly desirable. To be successful in this role you will also have:

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable calling suppliers and solicitors to source webinar hosts
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Creative with good writing skills
  • Good organisational skills

Please note this role will require attendance to conferences (approx. 3 per year) and travel to the Sussex area min. twice a year for social and/or team events. This role is offered as a 12-month FTC to cover maternity leave. This is a part-time role, at 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work across 5 days.
