About Searchable

Search is changing. As platforms like ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity AI reshape how people discover information, brands are no longer just competing for rankings. They are competing to be the answer. Searchable is building the platform that helps companies understand and improve how they show up in AI-driven search. They are early, well-funded, and moving fast. This is not a steady state marketing team. This is a business building its category.

The Role

This is not a typical Social Media Manager role. This is a standalone, senior position where you will own the entire social function end to end. Strategy, execution, community, experimentation and performance. You will define how Searchable shows up to the world. This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for building and scaling social and community from the ground up, not just managing it.

You will:

  • Own and define the social strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms
  • Build a clear, differentiated voice in a noisy SaaS and AI market
  • Create and execute content that actually cuts through, not generic B2B noise
  • Turn long-form thinking such as SEO, AI search and founder POVs into high-performing social formats
  • Be hands‑on with execution, while always thinking strategically
  • Understand how content travels beyond social into AI‑driven discovery, including LLMs and answer engines, and shape content accordingly
  • Contribute to building Searchable’s authority as an entity within AI search, not just its social presence

Community & Distribution

You will not just post content. You will own where the conversation happens - including niche industry sites and forums.

  • Identify and embed within key communities across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, niche forums and AI communities
  • Drive engagement, not just reach
  • Build relationships with founders, operators and marketers in the space
  • Turn social into a distribution and demand engine, not a vanity channel
  • Collaborate with creators, operators and industry voices to expand reach and credibility
  • Identify and partner with relevant influencers and creators within SaaS, marketing and AI to amplify Searchable’s presence
  • Use external voices as a distribution layer, not just owned channels
  • Ensure Searchable is present in the conversations that influence both humans and AI systems

This is SaaS social, and therefore the right person will need to consider that everything they do sits at the intersection of social selling, brand and community‑led growth.

Content & Execution

You will need to be both creative and commercial.

  • Create platform‑native content across channels including video, written and POV‑led content
  • Lead on short‑form, personality‑led and founder‑driven video content across LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Repurpose core ideas into scalable content systems
  • Work closely with founders and leadership to amplify their voice
  • Co‑create content with founders, creators and industry voices to extend reach and authority
  • Build repeatable formats that turn complex ideas into simple, engaging outputs
  • Use modern content and AI tooling to ideate, produce and iterate quickly
  • Test, learn and iterate quickly

This is not about volume. It is about impact and clarity.

Performance & Ownership

This is a senior role because it ties directly to business outcomes.

  • Define success metrics across awareness, engagement and pipeline influence
  • Track performance and continuously refine strategy using data and insights
  • Understand how social contributes to pipeline, brand authority and category positioning
  • Work closely with growth and commercial teams to ensure social contributes to demand generation and revenue outcomes, not just engagement
  • Understand attribution, conversion and how content influences buying journeys in a SaaS environment

What We’re Looking For

This needs to be a genuinely senior operator. Most importantly, someone who has moved beyond posting content and understands how social drives real business impact, including demand generation, pipeline and brand authority.

  • 5+ years in social, ideally within B2B, SaaS or digital marketing
  • Proven experience owning social strategy end to end
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn and founder‑led content
  • Strong editorial instincts and ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Experience building or scaling community alongside social
  • Strong understanding of short‑form video, content formats and platform‑native execution
  • Comfortable using modern content, analytics and AI tooling to move quickly and iterate
  • Comfortable operating as a standalone function

The benefits

£90k to £100k (DOE) plus equity. We are serious about this hire. Total ownership of a critical function. Work directly with founders in a category‑defining SaaS business. Build something from scratch, not inherit something broken. Huge runway to evolve this into a team and function over time.

The Reality

This will not suit everyone. There is high ownership, high expectations and little room to hide. They are a 5 days a week, in‑office business based in London Bridge. The environment is fast, ambitious and very hands‑on. You’ll be working closely with founders and the wider team every day, building in real time rather than from a distance. There is also an underlying intensity to how they operate. You may have heard the 9-9-6 phrase. This is not a rigid or enforced structure, but it reflects the pace and ambition of the business. People here are deeply invested in what they are building and operate accordingly. The reason for this is simple. They have very big plans to become one of the defining companies in this space. They are already well‑funded, growing quickly and building something category‑defining. For the right person, this creates genuine upside. You are not joining a steady‑state marketing team. You are joining early, with equity, with full ownership, and with the chance to shape how a company at the forefront of AI search is perceived globally. You will however have a strong team around you, including an experienced motion designer, a PR and content specialist and some of the very best engineers in the space. For the right person, this is one of those roles where you go from running social to shaping how a category‑leading company is perceived globally.
