The Opportunity AI search is rewriting the rules of digital visibility. Billions of searches now happen inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude — and most brands have no idea whether they’re showing up. Searchable is the platform that fixes that. We’re building the definitive YouTube channel for AI search, SEO, and digital marketing — the go‑to destination for founders, marketers, and growth teams navigating the new world of Answer Engine Optimization.
We need a host. A face. A voice. Someone who will show up on camera every week and make the world of AI search impossible to ignore. But this isn’t just a presenting role — it’s a partnership. Our founder and team come with deep knowledge of social media, brand building, and YouTube. We know what great looks like. Which means we’re not looking for someone to execute a brief — we’re looking for an equal partner. Someone who arrives with their own sharp point of view on content strategy, channel growth, and what it takes to build an audience.
You won’t be doing this alone. Searchable has a fully equipped professional studio, and we’re hiring a dedicated videographer and editor to work alongside you. Your entire focus is on what matters most — coming up with brilliant ideas, doing the research, writing the scripts, and delivering outstanding performances on camera. The production infrastructure is there to make you look world-class.
What You’ll Own
- Ideation — Find the Ideas Worth Making
- You will be the creative brain behind the channel's content strategy.
- Continuously research and identify high-value topics across AI search, AEO, SEO, and digital marketing.
- Monitor trends, algorithm changes, competitor content, and audience conversations to find angles that matter.
- Develop a pipeline of video concepts that are timely, searchable, and genuinely useful to our audience.
- Pitch and prioritise ideas with a clear sense of what will grow the channel and drive business outcomes.
- Think in terms of series, content pillars, and evergreen assets — not just one-off videos.
- Research — Go Deep Before You Go on Camera
- Research each topic thoroughly before scripting — understanding the subject well enough to teach it with authority.
- Stay current on the rapidly evolving AI search and SEO landscape.
- Translate complex or technical concepts into clear, compelling ideas that a broad marketing audience can act on.
- Pull in data, case studies, and real-world examples that make each video credible and worth watching.
- Scripting — Write Videos That People Actually Watch
- Script every video from scratch, with a clear sense of structure, pacing, and narrative.
- Write tight, engaging scripts built around retention — strong hooks that earn the next 30 seconds, a structured middle that avoids drop‑off, and closes that drive subscriptions and action.
- Balance education and entertainment — content that teaches without feeling like a lecture.
- Write in a natural spoken voice that translates well on camera and feels authentic, not rehearsed.
- Craft compelling titles and thumbnail concepts in parallel with every script — treating the click as part of the creative process, not an afterthought.
- Write engaging hooks based on proven formats and research that promise a transformation and pay off if viewers watch the whole video.
- Be responsible for understanding how average view duration impacts a video’s performance and use retention mechanisms such as “we've just covered x but this next thing will take you from Y to Z.”
- Develop and maintain a consistent editorial voice for the Searchable brand.
- Shorts — Extend Every Long-Form Video’s Reach
- For every long‑form video, produce 2‑4 YouTube Shorts designed to drive new viewers into the main content.
- Each Short should function as a standalone piece of content with a hook: a punchy insight, a provocative claim, or a moment of genuine surprise drawn from the long‑form video that makes a new viewer want to see the full thing.
- Presenting — Be the Face People Come Back For
- Present all video content as the on‑camera host of the Searchable YouTube channel.
- Build a recognisable, trustworthy presence that the audience connects with and returns to.
- Deliver scripts with energy, clarity, and confidence — making complex topics feel exciting and accessible.
- Become a credible voice in the AI search and digital marketing space.
- Build a loyal audience that associates Searchable with the best content in the category.
- Optimise for Performance — Think Like a Strategist, Not Just a Creator
- Understand the full performance picture and obsess over the details that turn good videos into great ones.
- Direct and concept the thumbnail for every video with a deep understanding of what drives click‑through.
- Write and test titles that balance YouTube SEO with genuine human curiosity.
- Systematically test thumbnails, titles, hooks, and CTAs to continuously improve click‑through rate and retention.
- Review analytics after every video, identify what worked and what didn’t, and feed those learnings directly back into the next idea, script, and thumbnail concept.
The goal is simple: every video should outperform the last. You’re not just creating content — you’re building a high‑engagement channel that grows Searchable's audience, drives product awareness, and converts viewers into users.
Content You’ll Create
Your content will sit at the intersection of three powerful categories:
- AI Search & AEO — how LLMs decide what to cite, how brands get visibility inside ChatGPT/Perplexity/Gemini/Claude, and what the shift from Google to AI means for marketers.
- SEO & Digital Marketing — evergreen strategy, keyword research, on‑page and technical SEO, link building, and the future of organic search.
- Business Growth & GTM — how companies can leverage AI visibility to drive real pipeline, not just traffic.
Formats will include tutorials, trend breakdowns, opinion pieces, product walkthroughs, interviews, and case studies — all presented by you, direct to camera, in a professional studio environment.
Day-to-Day
- Maintain a rolling pipeline of researched, prioritised video ideas.
- Script 2–4 videos per month (scaling over time) ahead of scheduled studio shoots.
- Film in Searchable's professional studio with a dedicated videographer.
- Review and provide feedback on edits to ensure the final video matches the creative vision.
- Collaborate with the team on product launches, campaigns, and GTM moments.
- Stay close to channel performance data — understand what’s working and feed those learnings back into ideation and scripting.
You Might Be a Fit If…
- You’re confident, compelling, and watchable on camera.
- You’re a strong researcher and writer.
- You understand SEO and AI search — or you’re obsessed with learning it.
- You think in systems and series, not one-off videos.
- You want to build something of your own.
- You’re an equal partner, not an executor.

- Knowledge of or genuine curiosity about AI search, SEO, and digital marketing.
- Strong written communication and storytelling ability.
Strong Signals
