About Searchable
We're building the future of AI search visibility. As ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity reshape how people find information, we help brands understand and optimise their presence in this new landscape. Backed by top angels and VCs, we're creating the essential platform for the AI search era.

Our core values:

  • Customer First - Every decision starts with the user in mind. Whether it's product features, support, or strategy, if it doesn't make their lives better, it's not worth doing.
  • Progress, Not Perfection - Done is better than perfect. Real growth comes from iterating, testing, and improving fast. Perfection slows us down, and customers don't benefit from things that never ship.
  • Radical Ownership - Act like an owner. Because you are one. If something's broken, we fix it. If there's an opportunity, we chase it. We don't wait for someone else to step up, we lead from wherever we are.
  • Feedback Is a Gift - Constructive. Always with care. Feedback, when given with intention and received with openness, is how we sharpen our thinking, improve our work, and build trust.
  • Leave the Ego at the Door - No drama. No politics. No heroes. We're here to win as a team. That means listening more than talking, crediting others, and being willing to change our minds.

What You'll Own:

  1. Organic Social Media Design
Searchable publishes content daily across LinkedIn and Instagram. You will be the design force behind it. This is a hands-on, high-output role. You are not a bottleneck; you are the person who moves things forward. You come up with the concept, design the asset, and get it out. You do not wait to be briefed on every piece and you do not hand everything off.
Every asset you produce should be doing at least one of the following: stopping a scroll, communicating an idea more clearly than words alone could, or making someone want to share it.
    You will:
    • Design high-performing carousels, infographics, quote graphics, and data visualisation assets for LinkedIn and Instagram.
    • Translate written content, research, and product updates into visual formats that drive saves, shares, and engagement.
    • Develop and iterate on design formats based on performance data, not just instinct.
    • Maintain a consistent and distinctive visual identity for Searchable across every organic post.
    • Work closely with the content team to ensure design and copy are developed together, not in sequence.
    • Stay obsessively current on what is performing visually across social platforms and apply it quickly.
  2. Paid Social Creative
Performance marketing is a core growth lever for Searchable. You will design the creative that powers it.
You understand that paid creative lives or dies on clarity and contrast. You know the difference between content that looks good and content that converts, and you build for the latter.
    You will:
    • Produce static ad creative for paid campaigns across LinkedIn and Meta.
    • Design multiple variants per campaign to support structured testing.
    • Iterate rapidly based on performance feedback from the marketing team.
    • Ensure paid creative carries the Searchable visual identity without looking like every other B2B SaaS ad.
    • Work directly with the performance marketing team to understand what is working and why, and design accordingly.
  3. Infographics and Data Visualisation
Searchable sits on genuinely interesting data about how AI search is reshaping the web. Making that data impossible to ignore is one of the most important things this role will do.
This is not a supporting skill. It is central to why this role exists.
    You will:
    • Design original infographics that translate Searchable's research, platform data, and market insights into clear, compelling visuals.
    • Build data visualisation assets that live across social content, the website, press materials, and sales collateral.
    • Develop a visual language for how Searchable presents data, one that is distinctive, consistent, and instantly recognisable.
    • Turn raw numbers and findings into narratives that people want to save, share, and reference long after the initial post.
  4. Digital PR Campaign Assets
When Searchable publishes research or launches a PR campaign, the visual execution determines whether it gets picked up. You will own that.
You understand that a great infographic is also a distribution strategy. Journalists, analysts, and content creators share assets that stand alone, assets that tell a story without needing a thread to explain them.
    You will:
    • Design campaign-level visual assets for digital PR, including hero graphics, shareable infographics, and press-ready visuals.
    • Work with the team to understand the narrative behind each campaign and build a coherent visual story around it.
    • Create assets built to be embedded and shared by external publications and creators.
    • Ensure PR visuals are consistent with the Searchable brand while functioning as editorial-quality standalone pieces.
  5. Brand and Design System
As the primary designer at Searchable, you will define and maintain the visual standards the whole team works to.
    You will:
    • Own and evolve the Searchable design system in Figma.
    • Build reusable templates and component libraries that allow the wider team to produce on-brand content at speed.
    • Audit and elevate the quality of existing assets across every touchpoint.
    • Set the standard for what Searchable looks like at its best, and then protect that standard.

What You'll Do Day to Day:

  • Design multiple social assets each week across organic and paid channels.
  • Create infographics and data visualisation pieces to support content, product, and PR.
  • Collaborate with the content, marketing, and performance teams daily.
  • Manage your own workload and deadlines without being chased.
  • Review performance data and feed insights back into creative decisions.
  • Iterate fast, ship regularly, and raise the quality bar over time.

You Might Be a Fit If...

  • You lead with ideas, not just execution. You do not wait to be handed a brief. You look at a dataset or a piece of content and already have a picture in your mind.
  • You treat consistency as a craft. You understand that brand is built through repetition, and you take the same care with a templated social post as you do with a campaign hero graphic.
  • You understand what performs. You care about engagement, saves, and share behaviour.
  • You use that understanding to make better creative decisions, not just aesthetic ones.
  • You are fast without being careless. Searchable moves quickly. You can produce high-quality work at pace and you know when good is good enough.
  • You have a point of view on data visualisation. You have strong opinions about how data should be presented visually, and a portfolio that proves it.

Requirements (What We Actually Care About):

  • Figma proficiency, this is non-negotiable and where all design work lives.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating social media design, infographics, and data visualisation.
  • Proven ability to maintain consistent visual identity across multiple formats.
  • Experience designing for both organic content and paid social campaigns.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, no typos, no misalignments, no shortcuts.
  • Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines independently.

Strong Signals:

  • Experience designing assets for digital PR campaigns or editorial publications.
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience alongside Figma.
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools such as Midjourney or Ideogram.
  • Experience in or understanding of B2B SaaS, marketing technology, or the AI/SEO space.
  • Motion graphics or basic animation capability.
  • Experience building and maintaining a design system or component library.

Tech Stack You'll Likely Touch:

  • Figma (primary design tool for all assets).
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (secondary design tools).
  • AI creative tools including Midjourney and Ideogram.
  • Notion (task management and editorial calendar).
  • LinkedIn and Meta Ads Manager (reviewing creative performance).

The Person We're Looking For:

  • A maker: designs assets themselves, every day, without being chased.
  • Data-fluent: can take a spreadsheet or a stat and turn it into something people share.
  • Brand-obsessed: holds the visual standard across every format and every channel.
  • Performance-aware: designs with outcomes in mind, not just aesthetics.
  • Fast: executes at startup speed without sacrificing craft.
  • Proactive: spots the opportunity before being asked and moves on it.

Compensation:

Competitive salary dependent on experience + equity.
