About Searchable

We're building the future of AI search visibility. As ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity reshape how people find information, we help brands understand and optimize their presence in this new landscape. Backed by top angels and VCs, we're creating the essential platform for the AI search era.

Our core values

  • Customer First - Every decision starts with the user in mind. Whether it's product features, support, or strategy, if it doesn't make their lives better, it's not worth doing.
  • Progress, Not Perfection - Done is better than perfect. Real growth comes from iterating, testing, and improving fast. Perfection slows us down, and customers don't benefit from things that never ship.
  • Radical Ownership - Act like an owner. Because you are one. If something's broken, we fix it. If there's an opportunity, we chase it. We don't wait for someone else to step up, we lead from wherever we are.
  • Feedback Is a Gift - Direct. Constructive. Always with care. Feedback - when given with intention and received with openness - is how we sharpen our thinking, improve our work, and build trust.
  • Leave the Ego at the Door - No drama. No politics. No heroes. We're here to win as a team. That means listening more than talking, crediting others, and being willing to change our minds.

What You'll Own

  • Content - This is a hands-on, daily output role. You will be the person creating, publishing, and optimising content across Searchable's company channels. You are a creative strategist and a maker. In this role you will come up with the ideas, develop the concepts, write the copy, brief the assets, and post the content. You do not just plan things you actually follow through and get them done. Every piece of content you produce should be doing at least one of the following: driving reach, generating sign-ups, building product awareness, or pulling people into our ecosystem through lead magnets and newsletter subscriptions.
  • Develop creative content strategies and campaign concepts across LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, and any emerging platforms where our audience lives.
  • Produce and publish high-performing content every single day, posts, carousels, short-form video scripts, threads, and newsletters that represent Searchable, its product, and its mission.
  • Identify trending formats, hooks, cultural moments, and platform mechanics and move on them quickly before the window closes.
  • Write content that makes the product the story: showcasing features, real-world use cases, and outcomes in ways that feel compelling to a non-technical audience.
  • Engineer lead generation content, lead magnets, gated resources, CTAs, and viral comment mechanics designed to convert reach into sign-ups and downloads.
  • Drive newsletter subscriber growth through content that earns an audience, not just impressions.
  • Repurpose high-performing content across formats and channels to maximise the return on every idea.
  • Monitor performance daily, reach, sign-ups, downloads, newsletter growth, and iterate relentlessly based on what the data tells you.
  • You understand virality mechanics. You know what makes content travel, why people share, and how to engineer a comment section. You know the difference between content that gets seen and content that gets acted on, and you build for the latter.
  • Personal Brand - Searchable's senior team has significant existing distribution across LinkedIn and beyond. Your job is to make sure that the audience is working as hard as possible for the business, and to grow it further. This means creating two types of content: company content that gets repurposed and amplified through personal brand channels, and content created distinctly for each individual that reflects their voice, perspective, and audience.
  • Develop a deep, nuanced understanding of each senior team member's voice, opinions, communication style, and personal brand goals.
  • Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts, newsletter editions, and long-form content that is indistinguishable from the person themselves.
  • Build and execute individual content strategies for each senior team member, growing their audiences while consistently driving awareness of Searchable.
  • Identify the angles, stories, and formats that will perform best for each individual, and execute on them with the same daily consistency as the company channels.
  • Repurpose and adapt company content for personal brand channels where relevant, ensuring it feels native rather than reposted.
  • Tie personal brand content directly to commercial outcomes: product sign-ups, lead magnet downloads, newsletter subscriptions, and product launches.
  • Stay ahead of trending conversations in AI, search, marketing, and entrepreneurship, and find Searchable's angle before the moment passes.

What You'll Do Day to Day

  • Create and publish content across company and personal brand channels every day.
  • Develop concepts, hooks, and campaign ideas that drive reach and commercial outcomes.
  • Write LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and supporting content for the company and for senior team members.
  • Build lead gen assets, lead magnets, CTAs, comment mechanics that convert reach into action.
  • Manage the editorial calendar across all channels.
  • Review performance data daily and adjust approach based on what's working.
  • Work with the product team to understand new features and turn them into content immediately.
  • Brief and manage supporting creatives (designers, video editors) as needed.
  • Stay obsessively current on what's performing in the AI and marketing space, and apply it.

You Might Be a Fit If...

  • You're a maker, not just a strategist. You come up with the idea and then you make it yourself. You don't wait for a brief and you don't hand everything off. This is a very hands-on role.
  • You know how to make things go viral.
  • You understand hooks, comment mechanics, share triggers, and platform algorithms at a deep level. You've engineered reach deliberately, not got lucky with it once.
  • You make the product feel exciting. You can take a product feature and turn it into content that stops someone mid-scroll and makes them want to sign up. You've done this before and have results to show for it.
  • You're a voice chameleon. You write in other people's voices so naturally that even they can't tell the difference. You pick up tone, language, and perspective quickly and hold it consistently.
  • You treat content like a growth channel. Every post has a job to do. You design content with outcomes in mind, reach, sign-ups, downloads, subscribers, and you measure yourself against those outcomes.

Requirements (What We Actually Care About)

  • Proven track record of creating high-performing organic content with demonstrable reach, growth, and commercial results.
  • Hands-on content creator, you write, brief, post, and optimise yourself.
  • Deep understanding of viral content mechanics, lead generation, and audience growth across social platforms.
  • Exceptional writing ability, hooks that stop people scrolling, voices you can match, complex topics made simple and exciting.
  • Experience running lead gen content: lead magnets, CTAs, comment mechanics, and newsletter growth.
  • Comfortable producing content daily without compromising on quality.
  • Strong analytical instincts, you use performance data to make decisions, not just compile reports.

Strong Signals

  • Experience ghostwriting for founders or executives with large, engaged audiences.
  • A portfolio of content with proven reach, engagement, and commercial results.
  • Track record of content that directly drove sign-ups, downloads, or newsletter growth.
  • Experience engineering viral comment mechanics or lead gen campaigns.
  • Deep familiarity with the AI, SEO, or marketing technology space.
  • Comfortable managing content across multiple channels and accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience with short-form video scripts or video-first content formats.

Tech Stack You'll Likely Touch

  • LinkedIn (primary publishing platform)
  • Beehiiv / Substack / ConvertKit (newsletter)
  • Notion (editorial calendar and content management)
  • Taplio / Shield (LinkedIn analytics)
  • Canva / Figma (light asset creation or briefing designers)
  • Slack and Linear (internal collaboration)

The Person We're Looking For

  • A maker: creates content themselves, every day, without being chased.
  • Viral-minded: engineers reach deliberately and understands exactly why content travels.
  • Voice-obsessed: writes in someone else's voice so naturally it feels like their own.
  • Product-focused: makes the product the hero of the content, not an afterthought.
  • Results-driven: measures success in reach, sign-ups, and downloads, not vanity metrics.
  • Fast: executes at startup speed without sacrificing craft.

Compensation

Competitive salary + meaningful equity. £60,000 + equity.
