The Systems Engineer Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will work closely with customers and technical teams to understand operational needs, capture requirements and support the development or acquisition of secure technical solutions. You will use systems thinking, requirements engineering and stakeholder engagement skills to help shape capability across complex defence and national security programmes.
Essential Skills
- Active eDV clearance
- Experience working as a Systems Engineer, Requirements Engineer, or similar
- Ability to understand operational, mission or user needs
- Experience capturing, analysing and managing requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Solid understanding of systems engineering principles
- Experience within cyber, cryptography, vulnerability research, cyber defence or operational technology would be highly beneficial
- MBSE experience would be desirable
