THE UX DESIGNER ROLE:
- Optimise user journeys and conversion funnels across web and mobile products
- Use data-driven insights to improve performance metrics such as conversion rates, bounce rates, and time on site
- Ensure consistency across the user experience while continuously testing and iterating on designs
- Contribute to improving design workflows and evaluating new tools
- Share feedback and ideas that support efficiency and quality across the design function
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices
- Dedicate time to personal growth and skill-building to support your development and enhance the wider team
UX DESIGNER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- 2+ years experience in UX and CRO for digital products
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best practices
- Confident in planning and conducting user research, usability testing, and journey mapping
- Skilled in designing and prototyping user interfaces that balance user needs with business goals
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to design decisions
- Proficient in A/B and multivariate testing to optimise UX and conversion
- Experienced with web analytics tools
- Comfortable writing research and analysis plans, and turning findings into actionable insights
- Able to define success metrics and track performance against UX and CRO goals
- Collaborates confidently across disciplines, design, product, dev, and data
- Comfortable communicating solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passionate about continuous learning, industry trends, and growing within a design team
