A leading organisation within the defence and national security sector is seeking a Test Engineer to join a high-performing, cross-functional software delivery team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based onsite in Gloucester. You will contribute to the delivery of secure, mission-critical systems across a range of advanced technology domains, including DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Geospatial Intelligence. Due to the nature of the work, all applicants must currently hold DV or eDV clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply testing expertise within an Agile software delivery environment
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks
- Define and manage test environments, tools, and data
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports
- Design and execute both manual and automated test scripts
- Raise and track defects through to resolution
- Develop test and deployment strategies aligned with project requirements
