The role will also provide opportunities to assist with project and transition work as required. The successful applicant will be expected to investigate storage problems on EMC storage with Brocade or Cisco SAN Switches, as well as ensuring successful backups are taken. Other responsibilities include: BAU support of the SAN environment Storage allocation/deallocation Maintaining documentation and producing management reports Problem management/resolution using SNOW HP and EMC Storage experience Experience with Brocade and Cisco SAN Switches Storage Management software skills Familiarity with SAN Switch Management commands (Brocade, and Cisco) A methodical approach to problem determination is crucial.
