Our client is a leading consultancy operating at the heart of the UK Defence & Security sector, supporting some of the most complex and high‑impact programmes in the country. They are known for delivering secure, scalable technology solutions across large, mission‑critical environments. Due to continued growth across secure programmes, they are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join their expanding team.

THE SOLUTION ARCHITECT ROLE
As a Solution Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end technical solutions across secure Defence and National Security programmes. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust architectures, define system designs across multiple views, and guide delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to best practice. This role plays a key part in driving innovation, mitigating technical risk, and ensuring successful delivery in highly regulated environments.
SOLUTION ARCHITECT ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Active DV or eDV clearance
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on complex technology programmes
- Strong understanding of system design principles and secure architecture
- Experience designing and building secure systems
- Exposure to one or more of: Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ability to engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
