We’re seeking aSenior Managing Consultantwithenhanced DV Clearanceto lead the successful delivery of complex digital, data, and geospatial programmes across the national security community. This role combines hands-on programme leadership with proactive business development and strategic influence.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and securing workshare within multi-supplier, Prime contractor-led ecosystems — engaging early with customers, influencing technical direction, and ensuring capabilities align with evolving mission needs.
This is a customer-facing role suited to someone with strong strategic delivery experience, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of theUK national securitylandscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver digital, data, and geospatial programmes to time, cost, and quality standards.
- Act as a business development lead, identifying and shaping early-stage opportunities.
- Influence and secure workshare within prime-led delivery ecosystems, contributing to capture planning, solution design, and bid strategy.
- Represent the organisation in customer and partner engagements, cultivating senior-level relationships.
- Translate complex mission challenges into actionable propositions leveraging data, AI/ML, and modern software capabilities.
- Contribute to thought leadership, proposition development, and market positioning activities within the National Security sector.
Skills & Experience Essential Skills
- Proven track record delivering digital, data, or geospatial programmes in the national security domain.
- Experience shaping and winning opportunities within multi-vendor, prime-led frameworks.
- Strong understanding of UK National Security procurement routes and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
- Strong technical literacy and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for executive-level audiences.
- Self-starting and resilient, with the ability to balance delivery excellence and business growth.
- Must hold active enhanced / UKIC DV Clearance
Desirable Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Defence Studies, Business, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MSc, MBA).
- Experience in AI/ML, geospatial analytics, or data engineering.
- Prior leadership within prime-led frameworks or national security campaigns.
