Senior Management Consultant role within a National Security consulting practice. Lead complex, high-impact programmes while shaping consulting strategy and capability growth. ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a leading UK-based engineering organisation operating across defence, security and advanced technology programmes. They work at the forefront of innovation, partnering with government and industry to solve complex, mission‑critical challenges. Due to continued growth within their consulting capability, they are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to provide senior leadership and strategic direction.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the delivery of complex consulting engagements, working closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver strategic solutions. You will play a key role in developing consulting methodologies, supporting business growth initiatives, and mentoring junior consultants while operating in highly complex stakeholder environments.
- Leading end‑to‑end delivery of consulting projects of varying size and complexity
- Selecting and applying appropriate methodologies, tools and frameworks
- Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Contributing to business development and growth initiatives
- Coaching and developing consultants within project teams
SENIOR CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience in Management Consulting within National Security domain
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- Background in Business Analysis, Business Change, Agile Delivery, Technical Consultancy, Product Development, or Programme/Project Management
- Strong research, analysis and insight‑generation capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
