Software Engineer in Test FULLY ONSITE – MANCHESTER | UP TO £55,000 DOE
Are you a passionate automation engineer who thrives on building robust frameworks and delivering high-quality software? We’re looking for a Software Engineer in Test with strong Playwright automation experience to join our growing Manchester team.
ABOUT US: We design and build software that empowers organisations to manage people, processes, and performance effectively. From HR tools to workplace tracking solutions, we create intuitive products that help businesses thrive. Due to our growth in recent years and our plans for the future, we are looking to bring on an experienced Senior SEIT to be a real driving force behind the upcoming success and to allow us to work to a high standard.
ABOUT THE ROLE: You will be working in a close-knit product team and collaborating with your colleagues each day. You will have a key influence in the work they do and display a drive for continuous improvement. We use a wide variety of cutting-edge and modern tech, but you will mainly be working with Cypress, Postman, Visual Studio, Android Studio and Azure DevOps.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Solid understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Familiarity with mobile testing and tools like BrowserStack is advantageous.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on automation.
- Passion, enthusiasm and drive.
