Working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will contribute to the design, development and deployment of mission-critical software supporting a range of complex programmes. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software solutions using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Support the successful delivery of project milestones and objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering function.
- Participate in technical discussions and help shape team direction and best practice.
Skills & Experience
- Full-stack software development within agile teams.
- Enterprise-scale web application or backend service development.
- Java and Spring Boot.
- Modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Cloud platforms including AWS and/or Azure.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar.
- Unit testing and automated testing practices.
- Git version control, including branching and pull request workflows.
