THE DATA & INSIGHT CONSULTANT ROLE:
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role where you’ll translate complex datasets into meaningful insight and recommendations. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, interpret behavioural and performance data, and present findings in a clear, engaging way. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality reports and visual outputs, identifying trends across visitor and location data, and helping shape how insight is produced across the business.
The role goes beyond analysis, requiring you to challenge, interpret, and apply data in a way that drives real-world outcomes. Alongside this, you’ll support client workshops, contribute to proposals and thought leadership, and collaborate across data, product, and commercial teams to continuously improve delivery.
DATA & INSIGHT CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience in an insight, analytics, or data consultancy role
- Strong client-facing experience with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience working with large datasets and delivering insight-led outputs
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to link data to business outcomes
- Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Python, or Excel
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Geospatial - nice to have
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality
