London-based role within a secure consultancy environment
Design and implement enterprise Cloud Operating Models across complex transformation programmes.
Our client is a specialist consultancy delivering complex cloud and digital transformation programmes into highly secure public sector environments. They support organisations in modernising technology estates and embedding scalable, sustainable cloud capabilities. Due to increasing demand for structured cloud governance and operating frameworks, they are seeking an experienced Management Consultant – Cloud Operating Models to lead enterprise enablement initiatives.
THE ROLE
As a Management Consultant specialising in Cloud Operating Models, you will design and implement scalable cloud operating structures that enable secure, cost-effective and high-performing cloud adoption.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing enterprise Cloud Operating Models across AWS, Azure and/or GCP environments
- Defining roles, responsibilities and capability frameworks to support cloud maturity
- Establishing governance structures, assurance controls and performance management mechanisms
- Designing Cloud Centres of Excellence (CCoEs) and federated cloud operating structures
- Aligning cloud engineering, security, finance and procurement functions within a cohesive operating model
- Advising senior stakeholders on cloud transformation sequencing, risk management and long-term sustainability
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise Cloud Operating Models
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or GCP environments
- Experience establishing cloud governance, assurance and performance frameworks
- Understanding of CCoEs, federated cloud models and enterprise cloud enablement
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders within secure or highly regulated environments
- Enhanced DV clearance (essential)
