FinOps / Cloud Economics Consultant role within a leading Cloud Advisory & Consulting practice. Opportunity to advise organisations on cloud cost optimisation, value realisation and governance. Work across FinOps, Cloud Business Case and Financial Reporting. Hybrid working with exposure to large-scale, enterprise cloud transformations.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a globally recognised consulting organisation supporting enterprises through complex technology-enabled business transformation. Operating across multiple industries, they combine strategic advisory with deep technical expertise to deliver sustainable outcomes. Due to continued growth within their Cloud Advisory capability, they are seeking a Cloud Economics / FinOps Consultant to support clients in maximising value from cloud adoption.
THE ROLE
As a FinOps / Cloud Economics Consultant, you will advise clients on how to maximise the financial value of their cloud investments throughout the entire cloud adoption lifecycle. You will work across cost optimisation, financial governance, reporting and value realisation, engaging stakeholders at all levels to design and implement effective cloud economics models.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing cloud usage and spend to identify cost optimisation opportunities
- Developing and presenting financial reports, forecasts and cloud spend insights
- Designing and implementing cloud governance policies and financial guardrails
- Delivering FinOps training and enablement to promote cost accountability
- Managing and engaging cloud vendor relationships
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience in Cloud Economics, FinOps or Cloud Financial Management
- Strong understanding of cloud cost optimisation and usage analysis
- Experience producing financial reports, forecasts and spend analysis
- Knowledge of cloud governance models and cost control policies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
