Job Description

  • Must hold Active eDV Clearance (West) to start
  • £560 p/d inside IR35
  • Contract until end of March 2026 – Extension likely
  • Cheltenham location – must be willing to be Full time on-site
  • One stage virtual interview – high-priority role
  • Experience in VMware Suite (ESXi, vSphere, vCentre, NSX), Storage Management, Automation

What will the Infrastructure Engineer be doing?

In the role, you will support a long-term, mission-critical security programme, focusing on high-impact workstreams and operations within secure infrastructure. You will work alongside multiple other engineers and have technical guidance from senior Team Leads.

Key Skills Required:

  • Expertise of VMware – vSphere, NSX, ESXi, vCenter
  • Strong knowledge of storage/backup management
  • System administration within secure environments

Desirable Skills Required:

  • IaC and Automation – Ansible/Terraform
  • Cloud migration exposure

Must Have Requirements:

  • Active Enhanced DV Clearance (West)
  • Willing to be on site 5 days per week in Cheltenham – no scope for remote working due to secure environment and project requirements – mission-critical engagement
