ABOUT THE CLIENT
An established and growing business in the digital sector is seeking a commercially minded and data-driven eCommerce Marketing Manager to help drive growth, optimise user journeys, and increase customer retention. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end website performance, leading strategic initiatives to enhance conversion rates, boost revenue, and implement a robust affiliate marketing program.
THE ECOMMERCE MARKETING MANAGER ROLE:
- Use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar) to assess user behaviour, optimise funnels, and shape strategic decisions.
- Identify and improve underperforming website areas using customer insights and performance analytics.
- Own the optimisation of digital sales funnels and continuously monitor performance metrics.
- Execute A/B tests, personalisation strategies, SEO improvements, and CRO initiatives to increase engagement and performance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, Marketing) to deliver UX/UI enhancements and conversion-focused updates.
- Partner with campaign and content leads to align messaging, content, and digital tactics with strategic goals.
- Establish and manage an affiliate marketing program designed to drive incremental revenue and reach.
- Cultivate strong relationships with partners to maximise campaign effectiveness and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sustained revenue growth.
- Lead initiatives to improve customer renewal/retention rates.
- Deliver clear, actionable reports and insights to stakeholders on marketing performance and site effectiveness.
THE ECOMMERCE MARKETING MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Proficient in using GA, Hotjar, CMS platforms
- Deep understanding of CRO, SEO, A/B testing, and digital optimisation.
- Solid grasp of customer behaviour across eCommerce platforms and conversion funnels.
- Experience managing affiliate marketing programs from setup through performance tracking.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable eCommerce growth and improving retention.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder reporting skills.
