Who We’re Seeking
We’re looking for a Development Lead to take ownership of the development function, leading both people and processes. This role is suited to someone with a strong technical background who has moved into leadership, and enjoys driving team performance, improving delivery standards, and working closely with clients. You’ll be comfortable making technical decisions, managing stakeholders, and introducing more efficient ways of working.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and managing the development team, including resource planning and task allocation.
- Owning delivery processes and improving workflows across the team.
- Acting as the main technical contact for clients, managing communication and expectations.
- Driving adoption of AI tools and modern development practices to improve efficiency.
- Overseeing technical decisions, architecture, and code quality.
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring high development standards.
- Supporting on hands‑on development when required for complex or priority work.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong background in PHP, Wordpress web development.
- Experience in a leadership or team management role.
- Knowledge of Laravel and modern frameworks.
