THE HEAD OF QUALITY & SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION SERVICES ROLE:
As Head of Quality & Supported Accommodation Services, you’ll lead on quality assurance, regulatory compliance and operational standards across a range of supported accommodation services for young people.
You’ll play a key role in driving service quality, safeguarding, compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring services consistently meet Ofsted and supported accommodation regulatory standards.
Working closely with operational leadership teams, you’ll oversee quality frameworks, internal audits, safeguarding practices, service standards and reporting processes across supported accommodation provisions throughout the West Midlands.
This role will suit somebody with strong experience within supported accommodation, housing support, children’s services, leaving care, youth homelessness or regulated care environments who can balance strategic leadership with operational delivery.
HEAD OF QUALITY & SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION SERVICES ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of Ofsted supported accommodation standards.
- Experience within supported housing, social care, youth services or regulated accommodation.
- Leadership experience managing teams and operational service delivery.
- Safeguarding knowledge and experience working with vulnerable young people.
- Quality assurance, auditing and compliance experience.
- Strong stakeholder management and report writing abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including Care Act / Children’s legislation.
- Confident leading service improvement initiatives and inspections.
