Senior Consultant - Agile Transformation Lead, Delivery
Focus on delivery leadership, coaching and facilitation across teams and portfolios. Opportunity to influence delivery from team-level through to executive and enterprise scale. Hybrid work with offices in Cheltenham or London. Must hold enhanced DV Clearance.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a specialist consulting organisation delivering transformation programmes within highly regulated and secure environments. They partner with delivery teams, senior leaders and portfolio functions to improve flow, outcomes and organisational effectiveness at scale. Due to continued demand across secure programmes, they are seeking an experienced Agile Transformation Lead (Delivery) to drive measurable delivery improvement.
THE ROLE
As an Agile Transformation Lead (Delivery), you will take responsibility for improving how teams deliver value — sooner, safer and more sustainably. You will operate across coaching, facilitation and delivery leadership stances, supporting agile teams while influencing leaders to improve enterprise-wide delivery systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and guiding cross-functional teams in adopting effective agile delivery practices
- Coaching teams toward self-organisation and facilitating delivery and improvement events
- Influencing executive and portfolio-level stakeholders to improve flow, risk and control
- Identifying and addressing systemic delivery blockers and challenges
- Driving continuous improvement and sharing delivery innovation across the wider practice
- Creating inclusive, collaborative delivery environments
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven experience leading agile delivery and transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of agile and traditional delivery methodologies
- Experience shaping delivery approaches from business challenges and outcomes
- Strong coaching and facilitation capability within mature and immature agile teams
- Experience working with portfolio functions and value-stream-aligned delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS
- Agile certifications including Kanban, Disciplined Agile and/or ICAgile
- Exposure to frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, LeSS or XP
- Experience contributing to enterprise-wide transformation strategies
