ABOUT THE CLIENT

Due to continued programme growth and an increasing portfolio of strategic projects, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the successful delivery of high-value contracts and bids.
THE COMMERCIAL MANAGER ROLE
As Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial lifecycle of complex defence and technology programmes. You will be responsible for contract management, commercial negotiations, bid support and risk management, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining compliance and governance standards.
- Support complex bids, proposals and contract negotiations
- Manage high-value contracts throughout their lifecycle
- Lead commercial change management activities
- Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks
- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Support procurement teams with contractual obligations and risk management
- Ensure compliance with commercial governance and company procedures
- Provide commercial guidance across programme, finance, engineering and procurement teams
COMMERCIAL MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven Commercial Management experience
- Strong contract negotiation and contract management skills
