We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation delivering complex technology solutions into the UK Defence sector.

They are undertaking a major cloud transformation programme, migrating critical legacy Oracle data services into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and are looking for an experienced HVR Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable data integration capability.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a business-critical programme, collaborating with defence stakeholders and cloud specialists to establish the future data architecture supporting secure operational services.

WHAT WILL THE HVR SOLUTION ARCHITECT BE DOING?

As the HVR Solution Architect, you'll take ownership of designing and implementing an HVR-based data integration solution to replicate legacy Oracle Data Warehouse feeds into a newly established Oracle Cloud Infrastructure landing zone.

Working closely with OCI Architects, infrastructure teams, defence stakeholders and external suppliers, you'll ensure secure, compliant and scalable data replication while supporting governance, security approvals and production readiness.

You'll play a key role in delivering a modern cloud-based data platform that enables the migration of critical MOD data services from legacy Oracle environments into OCI.

THE HVR SOLUTION ARCHITECT SHOULD HAVE 1.

Strong commercial experience with HVR (High Volume Replicator/Fivetran HVR) for data replication and ingestion 2.

Proven experience designing cloud-based data integration architectures 3.

Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) 4.

Experience designing secure data landing zones and ingestion pipelines 5.

Experience producing High Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) 6.

Knowledge of Oracle Database technologies 7.

Understanding of secure data transfer, encryption and cloud networking 8.
