Salary: up to £40,000
Location: Fareham with UK-wide customer site work
Role Overview: Delivering server, storage, networking, wireless and security projects. You'll take ownership of technical projects from initial scoping and design through to implementation and handover.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver infrastructure projects remotely and on customer sites
- Carry out technical audits, site surveys, solution design, installation and configuration
- Support technical pre-sales opportunities
- Provide 3rd Line escalation support where required
Essential Skills:
- Windows Server, Hyper-V and SCCM
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
- Server and storage infrastructure
- LAN/WLAN networking
- Backup and recovery
- Firewalls and network security
- Infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting
- Technical documentation, audits and site surveys
Additional Information: Experience within an MSP or technical pre-sales environment would be beneficial, alongside HPE Server & Storage, Aruba/Aruba Central, Veeam, Smoothwall and SD-WAN. A full UK driving licence is essential, with UK travel and occasional overnight stays required.
