This project will merge the RSDD APIs, TXR002 and ADE, into a single central calculations service for all consumers. The role sits within a new Scrum team on the Minerva Platform, developing Ingestion and Risking capabilities within the SAS Platform, including IDP.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering scalable data integration and transformation solutions using Pentaho, Denodo, Talend and SAS.
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and services to support BI and analytics platforms.
- Promoting Agile and Scrum practices, ensuring efficient sprint delivery and continuous improvement.
- Implementing DevOps principles, including CI/CD, automated testing and deployment.
- Maintaining high standards of data quality, governance and security.
Required skills:
- SAS 9.4 (DI) and SAS Viya 3.x (SAS Studio, VA, VI)
- Strong ETL expertise (Pentaho, Talend) and data virtualisation (Denodo)
- Proficient in SAS for analytics and reporting
- Good knowledge of Oracle (desirable)
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum
- Hands-on DevOps experience
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills
- Proven track record of data projects and teams
- Certifications in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, or relevant data technologies are a plus.
