Overview
Our client is a secure-sector SME consultancy based in Central London who are looking to bring an experienced Security Cleared Data Engineer into their growing technical team. You will be working on sensitive, mission-critical programmes, designing and delivering robust data solutions in a highly regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer who enjoys working in small, high-impact teams, close customer-facing consultancy, and wants exposure to modern data platforms and tooling.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience as a Data/Software Engineer/Consultant
- Strong development skills in Python
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working on complex datasets
- Experience with core data engineering tools and technologies (e.g. ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, orchestration tools)
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality, and performance optimisation
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Palantir (Foundry, Gotham)
- Willingness and aptitude to learn Palantir technologies on the job
- Background working in defence, government, or other highly regulated environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern data architectures
