THE SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER ROLE:
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead key defence initiatives including strategic product bids. You’ll own the successful planning, mobilisation, and delivery of MOD frameworks, managing risks, resources, and deliverables in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Reporting to Campaign Managers, you will be a central figure driving contractual success, client satisfaction, and revenue recognition across your project portfolio.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Extensive experience with UK Ministry of Defence programmes
- Strong portfolio and project management credentials (APM PMQ, PMI, Prince2, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and subcontractors
- Experience in Agile/SAFe delivery environments
- Skilled in risk and issue management, forecasting, and KPI tracking
- Technically literate in complex delivery environments
- Confident communicator across all stakeholder levels
- Must hold an active SC clearance
