ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a respected national organisation leading large-scale workforce transformation and reward operations projects. With a focus on process optimisation, digital integration, and employee experience, they are investing in advanced SAP HCM solutions to modernise their operations. As part of this initiative, they are seeking an experienced SAP Time Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP Time Management solutions within their Reward Operations team.

THE SAP TIME FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT ROLE

As an SAP Time Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Time Management (PT) solutions. You’ll gather business requirements, develop functional designs, and ensure seamless integration across SAP HCM modules including Payroll, Organisational Management, and Personnel Administration. The role requires strong technical expertise in SAP Time schemas and rules, along with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical, efficient solutions. You’ll also support testing phases, provide end-user training, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Reward Operations function.

SAP TIME FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a SAP Functional Consultant specialising in SAP Time Management (PT)
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring time schemas (PE01), rules (PE02), work schedules, and public holiday calendars
  • Deep understanding of positive and negative time recording, time evaluation, and time data integration
  • Proven knowledge of integration points between SAP Time Management, Payroll, OM, and PA modules
  • Experience working across two or more full SAP implementation lifecycles
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

DESIRABLE

  • SAP Time Management Certification
  • Experience with SAP HANA Time Management
  • Familiarity with xAtlas or similar third-party time management systems
  • Project management or team leadership experience
