ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Support Team Member to join our client’s team in Broughton. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting production by managing tooling, consumables, and calibration processes, while ensuring compliance and enabling operational efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to rate ramp-up, CAPEX, and facility improvement projects within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Control and manage cutting tool stock levels and regrind processes.
- Oversee consumables, chemicals, and stock levels.
- Manage all calibrated tooling to ensure compliance.
- Act as the interface between calibration and operations.
- Raise purchase orders for tooling and maintenance needs.
- Provide line-side support for production, resolving blockers quickly.
- Liaise with facilities and maintenance to ensure SLA adherence and enable new requests.
- Support CAPEX, Rate Ramp Up, and facility improvement projects.
- Lead involvement scheme projects to drive improvements.
- Contribute to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) initiatives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in tooling, consumables, and calibration control within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
- Effective communicator with strong customer focus.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to build supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Eligible for BPSS clearance.
