OPERATIONS SUPPORT TEAM MEMBER

  • £25.73ph via Umbrella, working a 35 hour week
  • Initial contract until October 2026
  • Full-time on-site in Broughton
  • BPSS eligibility required

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Support Team Member to join our client’s team in Broughton. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting production by managing tooling, consumables, and calibration processes, while ensuring compliance and enabling operational efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to rate ramp-up, CAPEX, and facility improvement projects within a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Control and manage cutting tool stock levels and regrind processes.
  • Oversee consumables, chemicals, and stock levels.
  • Manage all calibrated tooling to ensure compliance.
  • Act as the interface between calibration and operations.
  • Raise purchase orders for tooling and maintenance needs.
  • Provide line-side support for production, resolving blockers quickly.
  • Liaise with facilities and maintenance to ensure SLA adherence and enable new requests.
  • Support CAPEX, Rate Ramp Up, and facility improvement projects.
  • Lead involvement scheme projects to drive improvements.
  • Contribute to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) initiatives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in tooling, consumables, and calibration control within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Effective communicator with strong customer focus.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to build supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Eligible for BPSS clearance.
