Exciting new opportunity for an AWS Platform Engineer with SC Clearance for a globally leading Digital Transformation Consultancy client in the Southwest. Up to £95,000 based on experience. Bristol Location - hybrid working.
We are looking for a Platform/DevOps Engineer to join a team driving some of the most significant digital transformation projects in the UK Public Sector. We are a global leader in digital innovation, creating user-centric solutions that improve public services.

What Will You Be Doing?
- Leading cross-functional engineering projects to design, build, and enhance scalable digital platforms
- Designing and implementing high-availability cloud infrastructures using AWS
- Working collaboratively in agile teams, solving complex technical challenges with open-source tools
- Building and managing CI/CD pipelines to drive automation and streamline software delivery
- Driving innovation through Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and microservices-based architectures
- Playing a key role in reshaping UK public services through digital transformation
What Are We Looking For?
- Technical Skills
- Cloud expertise: Strong experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Kubernetes & Containerisation: Experience with EKS, Helm, or similar orchestration tools
- DevOps Practices: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby
- Monitoring & Observability: Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar technologies
- A passion for solving complex technical challenges in high-availability production environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with both technical teams and stakeholders
- A proactive approach to learning and adopting modern tools and best practices
