ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation undergoing a significant HR transformation programme. They are investing heavily in modernising HR systems, processes, and employee experience, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Project Manager to drive critical change initiatives.
You will play a key role in delivering new HR technology solutions, improving processes, and ensuring successful adoption across a large and diverse workforce.
THE HR TRANSFORMATION PROJECT MANAGER ROLE
As the HR Transformation Project Manager, you will act as the local project lead and business owner for several strategic HR transformation initiatives. A key focus of the role will be leading the implementation of a new HRIS platform, taking ownership of local delivery activities across Compensation and Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. You will also support the rollout of a new Time & Attendance solution across a multi-site manufacturing environment, coordinating closely with HR, Payroll, Facilities, IT, Security, and global project teams.
You will be responsible for managing project plans, tracking milestones, mitigating risks, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful adoption of new systems and processes. In addition, you will oversee the decommissioning of legacy Time & Attendance systems, including historical data management and change management activities.
Working closely with internal Communications teams, you will help drive engagement and ensure employees, managers, and HR colleagues are fully supported throughout the transformation journey.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Postgraduate qualification in HR or a related discipline
- Demonstrable Project Management experience, ideally within an HR environment
- Experience delivering HR transformation, HR systems, or HRIS implementation projects
- Understanding of Time & Attendance processes and their impact on payroll
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and technical functions
- Strong communication and change management skills
- Ability to create and manage detailed project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Experience providing project reporting, status updates, and governance oversight
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with local and international stakeholders
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- CIPD Level 7
- Previous HRIS implementation experience
- Experience with Compensation and HCM modules
- Experience implementing Time & Attendance solutions
- Experience decommissioning legacy HR systems and managing historical data
- Experience working within manufacturing or multi-site operational environment
- Familiarity with payroll reporting and workforce analytics
