ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a globally recognised engineering organisation delivering advanced solutions across highly regulated and safety-critical environments. Their teams support complex manufacturing and integration programmes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. Due to ongoing programme demand, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support AIT activities and drive continuous improvement.
THE SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER ROLE:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and executing QA activities to ensure product quality meets required standards across AIT phases. You will develop Quality Surveillance Plans, manage inspection strategies, and lead gate reviews across the project lifecycle.
You will play a key role in managing non-conformances, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring corrective and preventative actions are completed effectively. This role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and acting as a key quality focal point within the production environment.
SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance within engineering environments
- Experience within aerospace or defence sectors
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, inspections, and AIT activities
- Experience managing non-conformances and root cause analysis (e.g. PPS)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
