About the Client:

Our client is a global leader in aerospace manufacturing and engineering, supporting complex production programmes that deliver thousands of aircraft components each year. As part of their growing Wing Value Stream Management (VSM) function, they are looking to appoint an Industrial Project Manager to oversee supply continuity, supplier performance, and change integration across their Single Aisle Programme.

The Industrial Project Manager Role:

  • Represent the programme in procurement commodity strategies and support supplier engagement
  • Oversee ramp-up activities, project planning, and transfer of work to avoid disruption at Broughton
  • Contribute to the procurement plan and call-for-tender process alongside multi-functional teams (MFTs)
  • Support the resolution of supplier non-performance issues and assess commercial and industrial risks
  • Monitor programme impacts and performance, ensuring alignment with programme/VSM objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive supply chain stability and operational readiness

Essential Skills:

  • Experience managing suppliers and working with MRP planning systems
  • Strong background in industrial or quality management systems
  • Solid project management skills – experience in change or transfer of work is a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Confident presenting to and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Eligible for BPSS clearance
