ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a leading name in the aerospace engineering industry, renowned for their innovation and excellence in the design and manufacture of advanced aircraft structures. Their Wing Plant Engineering Team plays a critical role in supporting production through proactive design solutions and process improvements. Due to continued programme growth, they are seeking a Design Integrator to join their team in Broughton and support cross-functional engineering and operational initiatives.

THE DESIGN INTEGRATOR ROLE:

As a Design Integrator, you will support technical design investigations and act as the bridge between Engineering and Operations, ensuring that design solutions are robust, efficient, and industrially viable. You will support both reactive and proactive engineering activities, implementing design solutions for non-conformances and leading projects to improve product quality and reduce recurring issues. The role involves managing technical topics, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, to cost, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be a key contributor in shaping priorities, driving continuous improvement, and supporting sustainability and operational excellence goals.

DESIGN INTEGRATOR ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in aerospace or structural engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong understanding of design integration, build support, and non-conformance management
  • Ability to lead engineering projects through to delivery, ensuring E2E design change solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills across Engineering and Operations
  • Consistent delivery to time, cost, and quality metrics
