Civil Engineer – Contract Civil Engineer – Building Design (Contract) ~ Up to £60 per hour , inside IR35 ~ Hybrid working – flexible UK office location with travel as required ~6-month contract to start, ASAP start Our client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy working on high-profile UK and overseas infrastructure and building design projects. With continued growth across their infrastructure and civil engineering division, they’re seeking a Civil Engineer to support a growing national team on technically challenging, design-led work across multiple sectors. Up to £60 per hour (PAYE) ~ Flexible working – hybrid model (3+ days on site/office) ~ Paid travel to/from project sites ~6-month contract (scope for extension) THE CIVIL ENGINEER ROLE As a Civil Engineer within the Building Design practice, you’ll contribute to delivering small to medium-scale infrastructure and design projects. You’ll be working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver drainage, utilities, pavement and access solutions. Projects may span the UK and overseas, and you\’ll need a practical mindset, design experience, and strong communication skills. CIVIL ENGINEER – SKILLS Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) Experience in civil/building infrastructure design: drainage, utilities, pavements, access AutoCAD + Civil 3D proficiency; BIM 360 / Revit a bonus Familiar with UK design standards and construction logistics Civil Engineer, Infrastructure, Drainage, Utilities, Building Design, AutoCAD, Civils 3D, BIM 360, Revit, Hybrid Working, SC Clearance, NSD
