ABOUT THE CLIENT: Our client is a prominent multinational Aerospace manufacturing organisation with major UK operations and a strong commitment to employee development and workplace culture. Their HR function plays a key role in supporting complex programmes across various sites. Due to increased activity, they are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to support operations in Filton and beyond.

THE EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST ROLE:

  • Advise HRBPs and line managers on employee relations issues (grievance, performance, absence, flexible working, etc.)
  • Manage industrial relations topics, including interpreting collective agreements and working with employee reps
  • Conduct investigations, compile reports, and recommend fair resolutions
  • Help shape HR policies and procedures in line with legal and business needs
  • Upskill colleagues through training and knowledge-sharing in ER/IR best practice
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records and support a positive employee experience

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in employee relations within a large organisation
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and industrial relations practices
  • Excellent communication, investigation, and influencing skills
  • Experience in case management, policy reviews, and disciplinary/investigations
