ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is the world’s leading aircraft manufacturer, known for delivering high-performance wing systems to aircraft across the globe. Their Broughton facility is a hub of technical innovation and structural engineering, supplying wings for around half of all aircraft deliveries annually. Due to the increasing demand on the Wing Plant Engineering Team, they are now seeking a Design Concession Approver to support structural non-conformance and lead technical investigations.
THE DESIGN CONCESSION APPROVER (T200) ROLE:
- Act as a Lead Design Engineer supporting manufacturing non-conformances and design investigations.
- Ensure all technical solutions meet Airworthiness, Safety, and Design requirements.
- Provide design approval for concessions (T200) and guide governance across teams.
- Liaise with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to process efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and support engineering team members in a fast-paced delivery environment.
DESIGN CONCESSION APPROVER (T200) ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Active or prior T200 Concession Design Approval – essential.
- Experience leading structural investigations and resolving non-conformances in aerospace or similar industries.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills within a high-integrity product environment.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teams.
- Self-motivated, able to operate independently while supporting wider team goals.
