The Cyber Security Specialist Role
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will join a high performing team delivering operational cyber support and working with advanced digital technologies. You will contribute to real time mission environments, provide solutions to complex operational problems and collaborate closely with colleagues who bring expertise from a wide range of technical and operational backgrounds.
Cyber Security Specialist Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of national security expectations and personal security behaviours
- Excellent self-awareness and cultural awareness with a flexible, adaptable approach
- Ability to work effectively within demanding real time mission environments
- Experience collaborating within mission focused teams
- Good awareness of digital technology, cyber security and UK cyber strategy
- Ability to take well-judged initiative and operate proactively

- Experience within a national security or defence environment
