About Your Role:
Join a team working with advanced technology while applying Control Systems Engineering techniques to strategically vital National Defence Programs. You will contribute to PLC engineering excellence as part of the Control Systems Software team, focusing on software design and development for maritime control and instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical documentation in line with company and customer procedures
- Define and design solutions for PLC control systems
- Develop PLC software from various design formats, such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts, or Pseudo Code
- Validate software designs through analysis and testing
- Adhere to company standards and comply with all relevant statutory requirements
Required Experience:
- Design and integration of large-scale PLC control systems
- Proven experience with Siemens or Rockwell PLC systems
- Expertise in Fault Tolerant, High Availability, and Safety Integrated PLC Solutions
- Familiarity with Industrial Communication protocols and networking standards
- A degree, HND, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field such as C&I Engineering or Systems Engineering
