Our client is a UK Defence organisation delivering complex, safety critical maritime systems that operate in demanding environments. They are investing in the growth of a specialist Integrated Logistics Support and Obsolescence capability that will become embedded across engineering programmes. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint multiple Integrated Logistics Support Engineers at different levels of seniority to support delivery today and shape future capability.

THE INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT ENGINEER ROLE
These roles will form part of a small, specialist team embedded into one or more UK Defence projects. Initially, the focus will be on reactive and corrective ILS and obsolescence activities, stabilising delivery and addressing real world support challenges. Over time, the roles will evolve to take on a more strategic focus, influencing engineering decisions, programme behaviours, and the wider approach to supportability across projects. Depending on experience and seniority, you may operate in a hands on delivery role or take a more holistic, cross project view, providing oversight, challenge, and technical leadership.
INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience delivering Integrated Logistics Support or Support Engineering within Defence or a regulated engineering environment
- Understanding of ILS and supportability activities such as FMECA, LORA, life cycle costing, maintenance planning, training, or disposal
- Awareness of systems engineering and engineering lifecycles
- Ability to operate in dynamic, delivery focused environments
- Active UK SC clearance required
