A new contract opportunity is available in Broughton for a Quality Conformance Engineer to support the quality industrialization of Aircraft modifications.
On-site in Broughton, £32.96 ph via Umbrella, 35-hour week over 4.5 days. Potential for a Double Day Shift pattern in the future (includes a 20% increase). Initial contract until December 2026. BPSS clearance required.
WHAT WILL THE QUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER BE DOING?
The main responsibility will be to drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and facilitating improvements to increase performance, reliability and repeatability of processes. Other roles include:
- Deploying APQP and Quality Standards
- Supporting & Facilitating Failure Mode & Effect Analysis
- Creating & updating Control Plans to incorporate modifications as required
- Leading cost of non-quality forecasting
- Providing lineside support during start of production phases
WE NEED THE QUALITY CONFORMANCE ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…
- A sound understanding of aircraft manufacturing and process improvements
- Experience looking at preventative and quality methods
- Experience looking at modifications on the aircraft
- Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, CP and PPV methods
