ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a globally recognised engineering organisation delivering complex infrastructure and facilities projects across highly regulated environments. Their teams support major CAPEX and construction programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with strict governance standards. Due to continued project demand, they are now looking for an experienced Project Management Business Partner to support building and construction initiatives.
THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT BUSINESS PARTNER ROLE:
As a Project Management Business Partner, you will support the Project Lead in delivering CAPEX and building projects from feasibility and design through to completion and handover. You will play a key role in establishing project governance, managing reporting structures, and supporting risk and budget management activities. You will work closely with multi-functional project teams, stakeholders, contractors, and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered in line with internal standards and project management methodologies. This role will also involve supporting milestone reviews, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring effective communication across the project lifecycle.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT BUSINESS PARTNER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Previous experience within Project Management, ideally in a senior PM or PM support role
- Experience supporting building and construction projects
- Strong knowledge of project governance, reporting, and risk management
- Experience supporting CAPEX projects and budget tracking
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using MS Project, SharePoint, Google Suite, or similar project tools
- Ability to work within multi-functional teams in complex environments
