New Permanent Opportunity for a Security Cleared Palantir Foundry Data Engineer. Our client is a leading secure sector consultancy with a firmly established Palantir Data team. They work on complex, mission-focused programmes, using Palantir platforms to transform disparate data into trusted information assets, operational capabilities and actionable insights.

What will the Data Engineer be doing?

  • You’ll be responsible for designing, developing and deploying scalable data solutions across the Palantir Foundry ecosystem, working closely with technical teams and client stakeholders.
  • The role will involve building data pipelines and models, integrating diverse data sources, and supporting applications across the Palantir stack.
  • Building and optimising ETL/data pipelines within Palantir Foundry.
  • Ingesting, transforming and enriching batch, streaming, real-time and unstructured data.
  • Developing logical and physical data models and Foundry Ontologies.
  • Designing scalable and high-performance Foundry architectures.
  • Implementing data governance, quality, metadata and lineage processes.
  • Optimising and troubleshooting pipelines for performance, reliability and scalability.
  • Developing reusable solutions using Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Building and maintaining military workflows in Palantir Gotham.
  • Working within Agile teams and contributing across the full SDLC, version control and CI/CD.

Strong commercial experience with Palantir Foundry, data engineering experience across ETL, pipelines and workflow orchestration, strong understanding of data modelling, Ontology design and database optimisation, experience working with varied data sources and formats, proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, understanding of CI/CD, Git and software development lifecycle practices, knowledge of data governance, security, metadata, lineage and master data.
