Location: Gloucester – 4 day working week

Hours: 37.5

Clearance: Candidates must currently hold the highest level of UK Government security clearance \”Green badge\”. Unfortunately UKSV/MOD clearances are not eligible for these positions.

Overview

Our client has several exciting opportunities available for Business & Transformation Analysts, focusing mainly on a range of Defence, Cyber, and national security programmes.

This role offers a variety of specialisations, each of which can be pursued individually or across multiple areas. We recognise that this is a broad field, and you don\’t need to address every aspect listed below. We are seeking individuals who are eager to develop and enhance their skills in some of the areas mentioned.

Typically, candidates will be involved in one or more of the following responsibilities:

• Collect, analyse, and document business requirements, processes, and plans.
• Support and facilitate both business and technical discussions, ensuring accurate and appropriate decision-making.
• Utilise Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban, JIRA, Confluence) to manage projects efficiently and with transparency.
• Provide assistance with Bids, Research, and Delivery, including technical planning and estimation.
• Define and draft clear, concise business requirements, guiding them through to acceptance.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, taking on roles such as Business Analyst or Product Owner, and representing the voice of the Customer/Business.
• Use analytics to derive data-driven insights that inform and support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the integration, deployment, and acceptance of enterprise software applications into live operational use.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• A solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience working within multi-disciplinary teams to achieve a shared goal.
• We are seeking individuals with both technical and business expertise, capable of providing specialised support in both areas as needed to ensure successful business and mission outcomes.
• The ability to serve as the technical point of contact and lead for a team of engineers and developers, offering clear direction and a compelling vision.

• Certified Product Owner or Scrum Master, Agile BA, Agile PM
• IIBA Certifications – Agile, Cybersecurity and Business Data Analytics
• BSC Business Analysis Certification – Foundation, Practitioner, Professional, Consultant or Expert
• Certified Business Analyst Professional
