PRINCIPAL DEVOPS ENGINEER
Permanent opportunity for a Principal DevOps Engineer with SC Clearance.
Salary up to £105,000 DOE
Hybrid opportunity with Manchester based offices

We're hiring for DevOps Engineers at principal level to join a top consultancy delivering cutting-edge solutions for industry-leading Public Sector and Defence clients.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple high-impact, innovative and mission-critical projects, shaping solutions that make a real difference.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, an SC Clearance eligibility is required.
THE PRINCIPAL DEVOPS ENGINEER
Active SC Clearance or SC Clearance eligibility
Manchester Based or ability to travel to Manchester.
Experience as in a Senior/ Principal DevOps/ Platform engineering role
PRINCIPAL DEVOPS ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Strong Linux expertise (RHEL/CentOS) with experience supporting production systems
Git for version control and collaborative development (GitHub / GitLab)
AWS cloud infrastructure, ideally with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker) for modern platform environments
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
Strong understanding of modern platform architecture, microservices and cloud-native systems
Good communication skills and ability to provide technical leadership.
